PHIL PAYNE

Phil Payne, MBA, CA, founded AIM Capital Corp., an Alberta based business brokerage and advisory service in 2005. Payne also founded Westport Supply Company, Inc., a Washington, Oregon and Alaska commercial laundry supplies distributorship, Tessler Fabcare Inc., a Western Canada commercial laundry equipment and supplies distributorship, and Energy Technology Products Ltd., a Canadian air pollution control distributorship. Phil sold each of these business endeavours to shareholders, competitors or company employees.

Early in his career Phil was an audit manager providing merger and acquisition consulting services to several North American public companies. He subsequently became CFO and general manager to Gould Inc., a Canadian subsidiary of a NYSE-traded manufacturer of high voltage switchgear and motor controls. Phil has negotiated more than 25 acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity fundings in the USA and Canada, and has assisted several companies with purchase investigations.

Phil is past chair of both the Edmonton and Alberta YMCAs and is at present a member of the Edmonton YMCA Foundation board. He is also a past director of the Vancouver YMCA and its foundation. He currently chairs the finance committee of St. Joseph’s College at the University of Alberta, and is a member of the Derrick Golf and Winter Club. In 2009 he received the City of Edmontons' Community Service Citation for his work with various local charities.

DON BARRIE

Don Barrie, CA, joined AIM Capital Corp. June 1, 2009 as an Associate. Don recently retired as the executive vice-president and CFO of National Home Warranty Group of Companies, one of Canada’s largest home warranty providers. He was the lead negotiator in the 2008 sale of National Home Warranty Group to Aviva Canada Inc. Don has 35 years experience in industry and public practice. He was founder, shareholder and COO of ConsumerScan Inc., a leading market research facility for the leisure industry and sold his interest to his partners. He also served as CEO of a major British Colombia legal firm and was founding partner of a mid-size Alberta chartered accounting firm specializing in finance, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and due diligence. With a BA in Economics, Don also brings insurance, legal and analytical marketing expertise to AIM. Don is a member of the Royal Mayfair Golf Club.

DAVID XU

David Xu, BSc, Nanjing University, China and MSc, University of British Columbia, joined AIM Capital Corp. in January 2009. David is a Canadian citizen with residences in both Shanghai and Vancouver. He is a successful engineer who is knowledgeable in world marketing of retail and industrial products. David is fluent in Mandarin and English and is fully conversant with European, American and Asian business protocols.

He has successfully negotiated numerous export deals from China and has brokered international licenses, joint ventures and business sales. David and the CEO of AIM Capital Corp., Phil Payne, have been doing business together for 15 years.
