This thirty year old manufacturer of drilling accessories had world scale stocking distributors, high profitability, wide market acceptance and the retirement of the founder in mind. AIM Capital Corp. was contracted to generate a confidential information memorandum, assist management in the preparation of reports essential to the buyers, solicit bidders and take their questions, draft an agreed offer to sell, provide due diligence from our data files and assist in the closing. The vendor was targeting a bid based on a third party valuation and was pleasantly surprised with multiple international bids and a closing price 50% above the valuator estimate.

Oilfield Chemical Manufacturer, Client Confidential
A twenty five year old regional supplier of oil well production chemicals was profitably marketing within a 200 mile radius and had unique blends, good customer brand acceptance, a solid service team of ten, and the retirement of both founders as the goal. AIM Capital Corp. was engaged to do a buyer feasibility study and to prepare a confidential information memorandum. This led to an invitational bid process, several offers and a cash closing just short of five times normalized EBITDA. Employees wishing employment were continued and a smooth succession transition has occurred for staff and the vendors.

26 Acres of Commercial Land w/ National Retail Tenant, Client Confidential
AIM Capital Corp. was approached by a long time client who had been in negotiations with a national retail chain who had approached our client about purchasing their site. An offer was put forward and the Vendor retained our firm to provide a market opinion of value and conduct negotiations on their behalf. We prepared a draft Confidential Information Memorandum and compiled a list of prospective purchasers in preparation to market the property. We then gave the original Offeror a chance to resubmit their offer at an increased price before the property was going to be brought to the market. The original Offeror promptly resubmitted at 70% more than their original offering and AIM Capital Corp. was able to increase value and enhance results for their client.

This successful manufacturer of containment devices used in the oil patch was being marketed by another business brokerage and AIM Capital Corp. was requested by them to find a purchaser. The confidential information memorandum generated for the vendor by their broker was utilized and a solid offer tabled and closed. Considerable competitive concerns were laid to rest in this sale as an industry leader purchased one of their strongest competitors.

An Alberta developer has unique patents near completion, for use in the oil pumping business. The new designs and field prototype are complete and beta tests are in process. This two year old development company required additional private capital to complete prototypes and its intellectual property files. AIM Capital Corp. raised the remaining $1,500,000 of private equity to complete the initial steps towards commercialization of the product.
